P/T Assistant Storage Manager Position

Compensation: $12.00 Hr.

Our company is looking for self-motivated Relief-Assistant Storage Manager to help manage three storage properties;

Two storage properties in the northeast of El Paso and the other on Zaragoza & Pebble Hills.

This is a 29hr a week position with the potential of extra hours.

Work schedule is as followed:

Monday’s Tuesday’s Wednesday’s Thursday’s

9:00am-5:30pm 9:00am - 5:30pm 9:00am - 5:30pm 10:00am-5:30pm

1 Hr. Lunch 1 Hr. Lunch 1 Hr. Lunch 1 Hr. Lunch

This position requires a dependable vehicle with a valid DL.

Self-Storage experience preferred, but not required.

The Assistant Manger responsibilities include most of those of a regular Storage Manger, including but not limited to, the showing, renting, and vacating of storage units. Greeting customers, answering phones for rental inquiries and making delinquency phone calls, taking payments. This also includes all aspects of running an office including, but not limited to the use of a computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries in a professional manner, communicating with the corporate office, making decisions, reconciling cash receipts, and the printing/reading of reports.

You will be part of a Management Team that depends on you to cover the office on their day off, so dependability is essential.

This position also includes occasional maintenance work: including but not limited to cleaning of grounds and storage units, sweeping hallways & aisles, picking up trash and debris. The removal of abandoned items from storage units and throwing items in dumpster!

This is not a position where you will be sitting all day

Our ideal candidate must have good customer service skills and ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and can solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Must be able to pass a complete background check & Drug Screening, have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit. Starting hourly pay depends on experience and is around $12.00/Hour, plus the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions paid monthly. There is a 90-day probationary period.
