Job Summary and Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY:
The RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans. In collaboration with the leadership team, the charge nurse will help enforce policies and procedures within the unit.
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS
1. RN licensed in State of Texas or compact license
2. BCLS
3. ACLS
4. PALS or ENPC
5. TNCC or ATCN or ATLS
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
