Responsible to verify part numbers and quantities against packing list
Responsible to deliver material to the machine area as requested
Responsible to deliver correct lot to each machine
Must put extra attention to job numbers
Must be available to work overtime as required
Must be able to assist in other areas as required
Must be able to assist in other responsibilities as required
Ability to work independently as required
May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work. Is knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution function.
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Make effective decisions relative to production requirements
Follow GMPs procedures.
Perform area safety inspections to identify safety hazards and report findings in accordance with company protocols.
Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses),
Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, ISO, and OSHA. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
Assume responsibility for the environmental effects of work performed and for the identification and recording of environmental problems as they arise.
Follow all applicable aspects of the site Environmental Management System as it pertains to normal job duties.
Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM, s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
Looking for ways to simplify or improve services, systems, and processes to achieve
QualificationsReading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
Ability to safely operate pallet jack (Electric Pallet Jack is a plus)
Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations.
High School Diploma / GED preferred4 months of material handler preferred
