ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full-time opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our Hard Drive department. We offer a fast-paced and fun environment.
This position will be testing, imaging and destroying hard drives, Chromebooks, PCs and Laptops. Training is provided. Our ideal candidate has basic knowledge of electronics. Previous experience in electronics repair, electronics assembly or other electronics education/training is preferred.
Job Duties
Responsible for developing the Hard Drives testing and Images Process, USB Images and Configure to Order process.
Maintain testing results records
Accomplish 100% of the Weekly Planned Schedule.
Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance routines for the Testing Equipment, and Computer hardware and software and 5s knowledge
Follow and apply the applicable Procedures. MRB, Time in “out, Transfer, packaging. Quarantine and Destroy Hard Drives
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education/Training
High school diploma or GED preferred and
Related electronics experience
Other Skills
Experience on computer software programs ( Excel, Word, Access )
Good communication skills. Must be fluent in English
Knowledge and experience working with computers and hardware systems
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
