As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic, you will need:
Education and Experience:
Diesel Technology degree preferred but not required
Experience with heavy equipment repair (ex. Dozer, Scraper, Loader, Excavator, Backhoe, LP forklift,
Overhead Cranes, Payloader)
You will also need to be able to:
Repair of a 4-ton forklift.
Troubleshoot and repair diesel, gasoline, and LP fuel engines.
Troubleshoot & repair transmissions.
Be able to use test/diagnostic equipment.
Troubleshoot & repair hydraulic cylinders/pumps
Work on Pneumatics
Inspect and service PMs
Work on A/C & D/C controls and drives
Have experience connecting and disconnecting motors
Read blueprints and schematics
Have basic knowledge of electricity
Work Schedule:
Minimum of 40 hour per week. Overtime will often be required.
Weekend work schedules are frequent in order to service machinery.
You must be willing and able to work outdoors in order to service machinery in the field within the plant property.
