Freight Pro Transport, LLC is looking for a load planner / dispatcher in the transportation industry ONLY. Any other type of dispatching will not be considered. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Requirements:
-Good attitude
-Sense of urgency
-Must be willing to work on call
-Must be able to work under pressure
-2 years experience load planning in the transportation industry
Skills Required
Must have excellent typing skills
Must have good communication skills and the ability to multi task under pressure
True desire to ensure our drivers' needs are met
Bilingual is a plus
Position Overview: Plans the daily/weekly work schedule of drivers to maximize freight coverage in a timely and cost efficient manner. Communicate and distribute appointment dates/times to all drivers. Communicate and coordinate effectively to maximize drivers time. Assist drivers with any equipment issues, detention time and any additional requests made of driver.

Increase relationships with current drivers
Build relationships with new drivers
Communicate to internal and external customers
Support all other operations

Maintain a clean dispatch screen
Attend all driver functions

Manage all driver issues as described by your supervisor
Communicate to staff and customer service in a timely manner
