Property Tax Coordinator / Mail Clerk Long Term Contract Position Type: Onsite, Irving, TX
- The candidate would need to perform well with time constraints and deadlines that are not flexible.
- Time management skills, strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills necessary.
- Process Property Tax Invoices accurately and timely Open mail and assign to staff
- Responsible for mailing payments and returns to taxing jurisdictions.
- Scan and/or copy tax bills as required Monitor the bank activity in the Property Tax lockbox. Mail checks to the lockbox.
- Transfer bank reports to our shared drive for others to apply payments and credits.
- Ensure all checks are identified.
- Analyze and research requests for Property Tax information
- Make recommendations and implement solutions
- Prepare periodic reports
- Assists with internal and external audit requests timely and accurately
- Prepare, submit, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
- Thoroughly review assessment records
- Evaluate and analyze customer lease information
- Manage the compliance and valuation for assigned state and local property tax returns, including keeping well documented and accurate analysis and support.
