This fast-growing international technology company in Flower Mound, TX has an immediate 3-6+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for extension/conversion) for an Angular Developer. In an Agile environment, will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing front end software solutions and technologies to enhance compliance services in the market. This position plays a key role within each phase of the software development lifecycle and will work cross functionally with the company's infrastructure, security, data warehouse, and other development teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Building and implementing front-end web single page applications that integrate with back-end services and third-party partners.
- Interacting with internal customers.
- Validating requirements and system design.
- Ensuring code is unit tested and defect free.
- Participating in full integration testing.
- Rapidly addressing issues and fixing defects discovered during deployment.
- Strong grounding in OOP and SOA principles
- Securing design and familiarity with MVC architectures
- Ability to follow and abide by all information and security policies and practices.
- Angular (2-12), Single Page Application and Responsive Design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical field or related experience.
- 3+ years of system development experience using a variety of the following technologies:
- Angular (version 2-12, experience with Nrwl/Nx/Monorepo architecture/Angular Material desirable)
- RxJS (experience with NgRx desirable)
- CSS preprocessor (preferably Sass)
- Version control (preferably Git)
- Application Design: Object Oriented, RESTful services
- Able to technically describe in detail:
- Full web technology stack (e.g., HTTP(S/SSL), cookies, headers, caching, asset pipelines)
- Application Program Interfaces (APIs)
- Type safety
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Developing high quality, performant, and maintainable applications
- Gathering and documenting technical requirements and specifications
- Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Disciplined approach to software engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, quality assurance)
- JavaScript cross-platform web/mobile app development (preferably Ionic)
- I18n localization
- CI/CD
