The primary purpose of this job is to assist the management team with strategic planning, scheduling, logistics, and administrative duties, which relate to Events. This position will assist with the annual planning of all corporate events, responding directly to external business partners to coordinate logistics in regards to an event, accounting and expenses, as well as administrative functions for the management team.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Collaborate with management team to define and implement innovative meeting solutions, and employee events for internal and external stakeholders.

Execute all planning and logistical stages of event and meeting planning.

Lead events projects from requirements gathering, concept, and meeting/event delivery.

Assist in the creation and implementation of processes around vendor management and contracts.

Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

Annual planning of all corporate events related to budget, locations, etc.

Ensure each event properly represents The Rhodes Team, PenFed Realty and the BHHS brand.

Manage and compile guest lists and RSVPs for all events, including communication with attendees.

Day-of event logistics and awareness of event timeline.

Assist in creation of post-event recaps.

Assist in working with the social media team to plan for each event.

Supervise event staff and volunteers on all day-of logistics.

Manage the customer appreciation program and maintenance of its items.

Assume planning responsibilities for Offsite meetings.

Ensure all items are obtained for each event. Develop pre-event checklist.

Participate in the development of processes and systems to maximize automation and efficiency opportunities for the organization.

Education and ExperienceEquivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.

Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in Events Management or Production is required.

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

Maintain up-to-date with the latest event planning trends, techniques, and technologies.
