DSA is looking for a Network Support Specialist to join our CTSF Team in Fort Hood TX. Duties include but not limited to: -Network Support Specialist (NSS) is responsible for the day to day operation of the test floor network of the Central Texas Support Facility (CTSF) located at Fort Hood TX. - The NSS shall be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components. -Perform a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets Tactical/Enterprise and CTSF testing satisfaction. -Provide direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations as well as design, setup and configure complex switching environments. -Direct the design, setup and configuration of complex wireless networking in support of open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications. -Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking and assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, Ether-Channel (Bonding), among others. -Assists in maintaining RMF requirements- Must be able to interface with the application users, understand and develop graphical user interfaces that meet the needs of the userRequired Skills:DoD Secret Security ClearanceAssociate's Degree 5+ years experience in Network Engineering DoDD 8570.01 standards, IAT Level 2CompTIA Security+ certificationCISCO computing environmentCOVID-19 continues to significantly impact our communities, families and employees.
