Systems Administrator Tier III LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Tier III Systems Administrator to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) DDSB in San Antonio, Texas.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Microsoft (MS) system administration support to analyze current AD/Exchange/ BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) implementation and provide status reports before and after remediation actions are engineered and executed.
  • Work with other organizational elements to coordinate operations and support of Active Directory and Exchange across the enterprise.
  • Provide support services to include Tier 3 level expertise through analysis, validation, and configuration of current services, which include AD, Microsoft Exchange, BES, CommVault, VMWare, Enterprise Vault, Quest Active Roles Server (ARS), and IronMail.
  • Provide detailed descriptions, models, and diagrams of all interfaces, via customer modifiable Visio format, for purposes of modernization documentation and communication.
  • Perform training sessions for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support staff to include best practices and troubleshooting processes.
  • Review Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and provide additional Knowledge Base transfer documentation or articles applicable to the present environment.
  • Conduct disaster recovery operations for all supported systems.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with customers, stakeholders, and other technical specialists, effectively leading detailed technical discussions and creating and presenting briefing materials.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists for enterprise monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) using established protocols, and participate in the change management process as necessary.
  • Support and maintain Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) architecture to provide authentication, synchronization, user provisioning, and authorization services for AD user accounts.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers in support of taskers, initiatives, and projects.
  • Adhere to proper security and certification procedures, such as the DoD IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) when applicable. Ensure security policies meet Approval to Operate (ATO) and DIACAP requirements and provide documentation to in support of the Enterprise.
  • Analyze evolving business requirements and create appropriate solutions involving Information Technology products, processes, and people.
  • Work closely with technology architects and engineers to ensure solutions are realistic and compatible with the environment.
  • Architect enhancements to critical systems that are compliant with applicable Army, DoD, and industry guidelines and policies.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Must have and maintain DoD Information Technology (IT) Security Designation of IT-I.
  • Must have and maintain DoD Information Assurance (IA) Technical Designation of IAT III.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a current NACLC Background Check &/or Secret (or higher level) Clearance
Must possess one or more of the following computing environment certifications or able to obtain one within 180 days of employment:
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert/Associate (MCSE/A)
