SummaryYou will serve as a Management Assistant in the staff of the Commander, NAVY MEDICINE EDUCATION AND TRAINING CMD Academics ACOS, San Antonio Texas.ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as principle administrative support for directorates, providing updates on procedures, instructions and policies impacting issues serviced by the directorate.You will assemble, bind, collate and mail multiple-page documents such as binders and reports, providing correspondence control and duplicates correspondence and other materials as needed.You will independently maintain databases and provide updates to the Academics ACOS on equipment and supplies for the directorate, preparing requisitions and other documents for purchase of materials and supplies, services, and equipment.You will consolidate, coordinate, verify, validate and perform updates on electronic database storage programs such as Registrar Data Base containing historical and statistical information gathered from schoolhouses.You will create and enter data into various spreadsheets as directed by the Academic ACOS, extracting and compiling information from spreadsheets and database queries in support of manning reports, student production reports.You will provide statistical information to assist in the confirmation that government needs are met supporting economical and quality operations, coordinating with the learning center personnel for the purpose of data collection.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .

Experience retrieving data from various information sources, both manual and electronic, for use in answering questions, responding to correspondence, or preparing reports.

Experience assisting supervisors in preparing reports and briefs by researching pulling data and compiling data and entering into the required defined format.

Experience utilizing multiple automated systems such as CeTARS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Sharepoint, Power Point and Registrar software.

Experience providing statistical information to assist in the confirmation that government needs are met supporting economical and quality operations.

Experience digitizing legacy documents and maintaining cataloged archives, may be required to type a variety of correspondence for the directorate such as letters, memoranda, and naval messages.

Experience with basic form design techniques and procedures in order to explain and/or make recommendations for forms to be used locally, must be familiar with the preparation of Naval correspondence and messages.
