Be More Than You Can Imagine .As a Production Engineering Applications Engineer to support in the development and implementation of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics NextGen Manufacturing Execution System (MES) iBASEt. The iBASEt MES project is a large multi-year business transformation project to replace Lockheed Martin Aeronautics legacy MES’s application, currently SAP’s Complex Assembly Manufacturing System (CAMS), consisting of Computer Process Planning (CAPP), Shop Floor Manager (SFM), our proprietary nonconformance management system, Quality Assurance Document System (QADS), in addition to other ancillary systems, across Fort Worth, TX, Marietta, GA and Palmdale, CA operations, providing a platform for the Digital Transformation of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Production Operations.Responsible for developing and implementing Commercial Of The Shelf (COTS) iBASEt MES application without customizations. Develop and implement using SAFe Agile software development process. Responsible reprocess engineering where required to support no customizations requirement, author test scripts, integration and user acceptance testing, process documentation, define and develop end user training modules and provide end user support following deployment.Serve as the iBSAEt MES functional and technical subject matter expert over the end to end MES manufacturing process (process planning, shop floor execution and quality management). This will also include product traceability, Type Version Effectivity (TVE) management, Engineering Bill Of Material (EBOM), Manufacturing Bill Of Material (MBOM) reconciliation. Collaborating closely with affected functional organizations, lines of business, and LM Enterprise Business Services (EBS) developers to develop an MES road map and prioritize requirements for Agile development sprints. Experience using Tools, Machine, & Systems using in a production environment Experience with Business Metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality) Experience with Manufacturing / Production methodologies Previous experience with MES system development and maintenance in the aerospace and defense industry a plus Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MESDesired Skills: Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Process Planning, Shop Floor Processes, Performance reporting and Quality Management. SAFE Agile applied experience a plus Previous experience with MES system development and maintenance in the aerospace and defense industry a plus Experience defining software requirements needed to support business needs.
