Join us and take your skills to the next level in project management and systems engineering.DMS Management EngineerThe Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Team is an established focal point for all issues regarding obsolescence on the F-35 Program. As systems engineers, the members of this team receive an extraordinary level of visibility as well as exposure to programmatic execution while acting as integrators across a wide range of disciplines both internal and external to the F-35 Engineering & Technology organization. The DMS team is a critical nexus for F-35 Production, Sustainment, and Development execution, proven by years of successfully mitigating industry threats. The candidate will perform DMS Management duties which incorporate the analysis of technical and obsolescence data such as BOM (Bill of Material) and other industry reports, as well as inventory management and coordination, to identify potential impacts to the F-35 Program. The candidate will also manage, review and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs), and develop, coordinate, and support the presentation of DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to the Customer. Expectations will also include building and maintaining routine relationships with F-35 Engineering leadership, system/subsystem engineering teams, Supply Chain, Business Management, Program Management, and all associate parties involved in DMS for the F-35 program.In addition, the candidate will be a stakeholder in the maintenance and development process of a DMS webtool which is used by F-35 team for tracking, coordinating, and executing DMS mitigation cases. Applying knowledge and experience in working with relational databases and using VBA and SQL, the candidate will help adapt this critical toolset to the ongoing demands of the program and help to incorporate this utility as an Aeronautics standard.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Interim Secret required prior start.Desired Skills:Engineering Experience in the Aerospace IndustryExperience using Microsoft Office tools emphasizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Industry Experience leading Software Development Projects.Industry Experience with Relational Databases, MS Access, and/or Oracle.Industry Experience with VBA and SQL.Experience with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, including briefing to members of upper management.Experience in Systems Engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification, production and sustainment) including the following key competencies: Supplier Interface, Proposal Analysis, Risk and Opportunity Assessment.Experience in Electrical Engineering or Components Engineering with emphasis upon Mission Systems Integration.Experience working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement.Knowledge of overall F-35 air system, design, and processes.Knowledge of F-35 development, production operations, and sustainment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
