Description: Aeronautical Engineer Integrated Fighter Group -Become part of the IFG Service Life Analysis Team. This position is for a structural analyst on the F-16 and F-22 aircraft. The primary tasks include Durability and Damage Tolerance analysis using fracture mechanics, force structural maintenance plans, individual aircraft tracking, force management activities, and ground testing support, as required.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering and 2 years related experience; or a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering and no related experience.Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills:Prior experience in a related industry preferred.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in airframe drawings, structural load paths, aircraft structural behavior, fracture mechanics methods, and aircraft maintenance requirements.Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD-1530.Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
