Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Quality Analyst for the F-35 program with an Inspection background to join our growing team of diverse professionals in Fort Worth, Texas .
The selected candidate will develop and implement program quality plans, processes, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
Responsibilities :
Acts as Quality Assurance Interface with Mods and Heavy Maintenance, Data Quality Integration Management, Configuration Management, Autonomic Logistics Information System, suppliers, partners, and customers
Ensures implementation of Quality Assurance Plans, policies and audit schedules with MRO&U Air Vehicle Depot personnel, to include interpretation / alignment of LM best practices and processes
Performs periodic surveillance of Quality Processes; such as Ground operations, FOD and Tool Control, Control of Nonconforming material, Safety, Procedure compliance, calibration, and other Quality processes
Assists in AS9110 Audit Plan development and audit execution
Conducts Root Cause Investigation and develops Corrective Action Plans
Integrates site performance measures through trend analysis and identification of key performance indicators
Reviews Modification Planning to ensure appropriate inspection points are incorporated
Participates in verifications / validation of TCTDs
Coordinates with LM Aeronautics Fort Worth and CONUS Depot Quality Assurance & Mission Success personnel on quality issues and information flow of site activities and program issues
Trains personnel on LM Aeronautics Fort Worth Quality Assurance systems (QADs, SQARs or ALIS) for documenting non-conformances
Issues Certification and Flight Clearances as required
Develops Configuration Management Plans
Develops Configuration Control
Coordinates with Fort Worth Q&MS personnel on quality issues and information flow of site activities and program issues
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
Must have one of the following :
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of quality or mission assurance experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of quality or mission assurance experience
Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of quality or mission assurance experience
Must have experience facilitating Root Cause Corrective Actions
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision and must have excellent communication teaming skills.
Must have a valid interim Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance once aboard
Must be able to work on-site in Fort Worth, Texas
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications :
Flight line and aircraft maintenance experience
Specific experience with F-35 modification completion and customer closure processes
Experience with the F-35 maintenance information system such as ALIS and CMMS
Experience working with Tableau
Prior experience with development of field related Technical directives a plus.
Proficiency in QADS / SQAR system or other electronic Nonconformance reporting systems
Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System and DCMA-I-8210 Requirements
Knowledge of Material Review Board Process or establishing Customer Concerns Working Group (CCWG)
Green Belt certification or other Continuous Improvement experiences a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface with all levels of management, technical experts, and floor level personnel in a multi-organizational environment
Ability to collaborate with Program Management in the development of performance metrics in the areas of customer satisfaction, product / service performance, process performance and supplier / subcontractor performance
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to develop technical solutions for complex problems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills as well as communication skills
