IT and Assets Support Technician Contract of 6 months + Work location is at client' s office in Dallas; remote work of 1 or 2 days/week. The IT asset Technician position provides firm wide support for all the firm' s electronic and technology assets. Primary responsibilities include but are not restricted to technology deployment, PC Imaging, PC management, asset tracking, service requests, and troubleshooting asset issues. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter who values accuracy, details, integrity and client service. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Keep accurate inventory of all assets through the lifespan of the equipment.
Repair and service laptops to get in working condition.
Wipe, re-image and deploy functional laptops.
Daily and weekly reporting of equipment including but not limited to disposal, acquisition, and repair.
Receive, respond to and track client service requests utilizing standard customer service skills.
3+ years of technology asset management or related work experience
Experience working with Dell, HP, and Microsoft vendors and VAR' s.
Understanding of SCCM, Intune, Windows DS, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
Heavy experience with desktop imaging
Ability to keep track of inventory, shipping and ordering of equipment and peripherals across multiple offices.
Strong organization skills, documentation skills and minute attention to detail.
Proven ability to accurately troubleshoot hardware issues (A+ certification is a plus)
Knowledge of industry standards for Asset Destruction / Disposal.
Self-starter who works well independently or with technical support staff.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and execute planned initiatives on-time.
Experience with ServiceWise is a plus.
Associates Degree in Information Technology preferred or 3+ years' work experience in asset management or IT related jobs.
