mid to senior-level Java Software Engineer!This is an upbeat, motivated, friendly, and successful group in a

100% Java/Linux shop that develops innovative products for the simulation and visualization industries. A slam dunk candidate will be a Java Engineer/Developer with experience in Avionics simulation, Linux, and

This Client works with the Military and the DOD space:

REQUIRED: Those authorized to work in the US on W2 and that

will have the

ability to obtain a secret clearance required.

Ideal experience includes; avionics modeling, hardware device integration, and augmented and virtual reality solutions using the latest available equipment (

Flight simulator work and

prototypes). Required Skills:
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in software development/engineering in a technical field.
  • Java – expert level
  • Broad experience (No application developers, GUI developers, web developers, etc.)
  • Integrator – they take various systems (visual displays, joystick controls, etc.) and integrate them – last to touch the product before it's out to the customer.
  • Linux – command line fluency
  • Math - trigonometry, linear algebra, and geometry
  • Eclipse IDE or similar IDEs
  • Perforce or similar SW Version Control system
  • Network protocols such as TCP/IP, UPD, etc.
  • OpenGL
  • Windows – User level
  • Passion for learning new technology;

    Side projects (

    GitHub account highly desired)

Nice to have skills:
  • Windows – Developer level
  • Real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation
  • Aircraft avionics modeling
  • Fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft modeling and operations
  • Drone/UAV/UAS embedded software
  • Perforce
  • Aviation background/knowledge/passion
