Manufacturing EngineerJob Number: 299407Category: ManufacturingDescription: A Manufacturing job in Ft. Worth, Texas is currently available through Belcan with one of our Aerospace clients. You will be responsible for providing technical input and leadership in the spares, refurbishment and new production group for F-16 Sustainment i.e. Products, Services and Field Support. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelors' Degree in in engineering in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering discipline and at least 7+ yrs. of applicable manufacturing engineering experience. This is a great Direct/Full-time opportunity with a growing company.Manufacturing Engineer Job duties:
Must organize manufacturing plan
Troubleshoot
Manage workload/lots of ongoing projects
Tooling methods
Manufacturing Methods
Provide feedback on process and suggest room for improvement, but not be offended if idea is not implemented
Entrepreneur, analytical, problem solver, flexible/adaptable, team player
Be a mentor to mechanics
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering and at least 7+ yrs. of applicable engineering experience
Direct experience with the F-16 manufacturing processes
Experience with CATIA
Experience with JOB Boss preferred
Understanding of F-16 spares, refurbishment and new product development
Hands on Managerial and Program/Project Management experience required
US Citizenship is required for this job
Outstanding communication and writing skills are required to convey technical ideas to both the customer community and to company personnel.
