Job Description
TheMarketing Leaderwill be responsible for overseeing all marketing operations for the firm and providing leadership to reach the firm’s goals. This role includes staff management and developing leadership within the Corporate Marketing team.This individual will bring new approaches, both strategic and creative, to winning work that aligns with the firm's overall strategic goals.Additionally, the director will collaborate closely with firm leadership, project managers, business development, client experience, creative and communications.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a leadership or management position
- Ability to travel frequently, primarily within the Olsson office footprint
- Leads the development and implementation of a fully-integrated corporate marketing plan
- Undertakes continuous analysis of the competitive environment, market intelligence and client trends to inform marketing strategy
- Leads and directly manages regional marketing leaders resulting in highly competitive project pursuit strategies, with a major focus on proposals and presentations
- Networks in the professional and business community creating brand awareness and developing unique value propositions to help the firm win work
- Works closely with the company’s business development team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing the appropriate tools, materials and presentations that fit with the firm’s brand strategy
- Works closely with the brand team to maintain high quality brand standards within all marketing materials
- Brings new (strategic and creative) approaches to winning work, showing imagination and outshining our competition.
- Provides leadership on processes to enhance efficient delivery of marketing services to the firm
- Manages and provides insight into the firm’s professional conferences and trade shows aligning the investment with the firm’s growth strategy
- Collaborates with the Market and Client Analytics team to establish and implement future strategies regarding winning more work
- Collaborates with the Market and Client Analytics team to provide feedback and insight into desired outcomes regarding tools to track, measure, analyze, and predict results of the firm’s marketing and client-related activities
- Provides insight into the firm’s strategic joint ventures and partnership arrangements
- Ability to build community partnerships and gain political knowledge
- Has a strong business acumen for the consulting industry
- Possesses an understanding of services/disciplines throughout the firm and the ability to market all services
- Possesses excellent conceptual and strategic skills
- Strong client service orientation
