Texas Health Fort Worth seeks to hire a Registered Nurse to work Full Time in the Emergency Department.The address is 1304 Pennsylvania Ave; Fort Worth TX 76104Salary range is Min. $26.50/hr. to Max. $50.82/hr. – based on relevant experienceWork Schedule Shift is 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, full-time, (3)12 hour shifts, weekends and holidays requiredTexas Health Fort Worth, a Magnet designated Hospital, is conveniently located close to downtown Fort Worth and our 100-bed Marion Emergency Care, 75,000 square foot Level II Trauma center is as specialized as its staff. For minor care needs, the ED offers a 10-bed Triage/Assessment/Super-Track area, designed to expedite care colds and minor injuries. Patients who need a higher level of care are taken to the 26-room Quick Care section. Those requiring extensive workups will be taken to one of 42 diagnostic rooms. Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of 22 Emergent Care rooms, including three resuscitation rooms for the most severe trauma cases. The ER also has a dedicated area for comprehensive, compassionate care of sexual assault victims.Emergency Department , Registered Nurse – Because every second countsThe essential job duties of this position are:Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfersQualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred; completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required BCLS (AHA) upon hire required ACLS (AHA) upon hire required CPI training within 60 days of hire TNCC or ATCN within 12 months of hire; PALS within 90 days of hire One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program ED, ICU, PCU and Tele experience preferredSkills Computer skills Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. Serve as a role model, be an intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and a coordinator for quality patient care.
