Senior Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to support our client located in

Fort Worth, TX – Onsite. This position will be focused on the migration and preparation of a large health systems data utilizing Talend.

Title: Senior Palo Alto Firewall Engineer

Location: Fort Worth, TX – Onsite

Duration/Type of Job: 6 Month CTH

Job Description:Design, build, and manage the security infrastructure of information technology (IT) systems. Installing hardware, configuring firewalls, setting up virtual private networks (VPNs), and adding upgrades. Engage with clients, relaying information about the project and troubleshooting all issues discovered. Proficient in change management and disaster response, and actively apply policies and standards to all projects. Work closely with network and security teams. Perform maintenance at unobtrusive times or resolve critical issues.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED.
10+ years of experience in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
5+ years of previous experience in computer networking, especially with firewall technologies

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

Firewall and Load Balancer experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelors in Computer Science from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

Palo Alto Firewall, F5 Load Balancer Certification.
