Mandatory skills:Data Center,Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word,Rational Clearquest, Rational ClearCase, CMMi,Server, Storage, Network,hardware builds, hardware support, network hardware, server hardware,security and management, procurement,Network engineering, networking devices, networking technologies, network infrastructure,Top Secret Secret Compartmentalized Information, TS SCI,CCNA Description: Client has a requirement for Server/Storage/Network build and operations technicians that will perform hardware builds, hardware support and onsite presence in its Data Centers.This position is an internal-facing support role.This role’s primary responsibility is to assist in the development, engineering, deployment, configuration, break/fix resolution, security and management of a variety of networking devices and networking technologies.This position interfaces directly with our site staff, procurement teams, vendor staff and Tier 2/Tier 3 Network staff.Responsibilities:Responsible for deployment/provisioning/reclaim of all network infrastructureWork alongside the local ops team to stand up new racks, configure switches, run cables as necessary, and provide support for provisioning issues.Represent Network engineering during new datacenter and point of presence turn-upsWork support ticketsRequired skills/Level of Experience:1-3 years of experienceMust have a Top Secret-Secret Compartmentalized Information (TS-SCI) with full polygraphMust have experience racking and installing network and server hardwareMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsTime management and organizational skillsAbility to work remotely with little or no direct supervisionMust be self-motivated and disciplinedAbility to recognize and prioritize critical tasks independentlyPreferred Professional and Technical Expertise:Have a basic understanding of Data Center powerBasic CCNA level understanding of networkingRequired skills:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft WordRational ClearquestRational ClearCaseCMMi Level 3Excellent verbal and written communication skills VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
