TITLE: IT SERVICES MANAGER Location: FRISCO, TEXAS
ICS is hiring an IT Services Manager, with Microsoft technology support experience, to join our client's team in Frisco, TX! This role represents the head of Enterprise IT Services organization with responsibility for all functions involved with supporting the company and the needs of employees to efficiently use technology in their day to day work. This responsibility includes Desktop support, service desk support, Datacenter (Enterprise IT), Enterprise cloud offerings (MS Office 365), Enterprise security, Enterprise server and network administration. To accomplish the responsibilities, this position leads a team; as well as manages suppliers. The suppliers include hardware, software and managed services vendors. What You'll Do:- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Supervise remote and onsite IT employees.
- Help with training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of Office 365 and all elements of its deployment
- Expert knowledge of desktop hardware and needs of organizations in the company.
- Working Knowledge of the design, installation, and support some or all aspects of LANs, WANs and AzureAD, while managing a vendor of a managed services offering to support it.
- Working Knowledge of corporate data center and managing a data center managed services vendor.
- Provide support on all aspects of IT from desktop support to server & network administration.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in vendor management
- Knowledge of networking and security standards
- Basic project management acumen
- Ability to work with IT peers, manage personnel and report to appropriate leadership
- Results oriented with creative problem-solving skills
