Job Description:

Responsibilities

i. Act as a lead SME for x86 Linux environment i.e. Suse Linux ii. Able to build, troubleshoot and support PaceMaker Clusters in Azure for SAP and oter critical workloads iii. Develop and coordinate the documentation for approaches, methodologies, policies, standards configurations, deployment processes and testing plan as needed. iv. Lead and participate in joint sessions with the teams to support migration, troubleshooting and build. v. Acts as a technical SME for serious incidents and complex issues related to storage

Skills required a. Ability to deal with people working in remote locations and different time zones b. Expert SUSE Linux Experience in Azure i. SUSE Linux Build ii. LVM iii. Patching iv. Multipath v. Pacemaker Cluster vi. Filesystem recovery vii. Storage / Data Migration viii. Cloud / Docker / Satellite: ix. Linux Networking x. Scripting c. Experience in Azure Cloud is an added advantage

3. Additional Skills and Experience required a. Can drive innovation and automation b. Expertise in preparing Operational manual.

4. Soft Skills a. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) b. Excellent documentation skill c. Should have great customer handling skills d. Able to handle unforeseen situations e. Excellent team player capabilities f. Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology
