What does a great Sr. Front End developer do?
The Lead Frontend developer will be the key technical subject expert for engineering the cloud services platform for the Gift Solutions application. The person chosen will get to work in a fast paced, competitive environment utilizing new technologies in the creation of a modern and futuristic platform.You will be a core member of the team and helping drive technology and architecture decisions helping guide the platform and developers into a more modern platform. This role will participate in requirements gathering and come up with detailed design, provide necessary support to application development team during construction and testing phase and provide support on all front end design decisions.As a Lead Front End Developer, you will have: - Great experience in AWS and Server less design
- Demonstrated understanding of 12-Factor application principles and Test-Driven Development
- Demonstrated understanding of the Agile Manifesto and working as a member of an agile team
- Demonstrated knowledge of a cloud platform: AWS and pipeline automation with Jenkins and/or AWS CodePipeline
- Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design and programming techniques
Basic Qualifications for Consideration: - Experience in JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience in core and emerging web technologies and APIs (HTTP2 , javascript, CSS/HTML, Browser JS APIs)
- Experience in
- Web and Information Security concepts and concerns, such as CORS, CSP, CSRF, XSS, etc.
- Debugging and profiling Browsers and Node.js, and understand ways to decrease page load speed and runtime slowdowns
- Modern web tools (npm/Yarn, Babel, Browserify/Webpack/Rollup, etc.)
- Web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
- Web frontend developer with experience in React
- Data access/modeling (GraphQL)
- Web/Visual Design, UI/UX, and other relevant HCI experience
