Job Title: Microsoft VDI / Citrix Support Staff Level 2 Location: Frisco, TX 12+ Months Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain service levels, monitor and manage infrastructure, and alarms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VM availability, connectivity, etc.
- Maintaining VDI golden images, installing client applications.
- Perform day-to-day VDI administration tasks including maintenance hotfixes, patches, upgrades, and security configurations.
- Assess virtual machine and VDI risks and perform contingency planning
- Maintaining and managing Citrix applications
- Install and update XenApp farms
- Design and plan Citrix CVA environments
- Troubleshooting and fixing any technical issues related to Citrix applications
- Ensuring smooth operation
- Providing innovative solutions
- Providing business support
- Coordinating, implementing, and communicating any system changes that are to be made
- Citrix or VMware Horizon
- Windows 7 / 8 /10 desktop environments
- ITIL including incident / problem management
- Bespoke application suites (desirable)
- Application packaging (desirable)
