Position: Flight Follower
Location: Westwind Helicopters, Santa Fe, TX
We are currently accepting applications to fill this unique position. We are looking for an individual that has the ability to multi-task, work flexible hours, remain calm in stressful situations, must be able to make adjustments as workload requires and be Safety Driven. This Flight Following position is a 7 on, 7 off work schedule.
Duties: Operate messaging and satellite tracking system via computer, maintain an accurate log of information pertaining to flights and aircraft contracts. Resolve all Emergency situations in accordance with Westwind Helicopters Emergency Response Procedures. Relay information between aircraft and customer representatives. Maintain a positive working relationship with Pilots, Operations Department, Customer Service Representatives and Maintenance personnel. Must be able to accept and maintain flight status information per FAA Part 135. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Key Competencies: Must represent the company in a professional manner. Ability to work within a team. Remain calm and focused throughout demanding work periods. Ability to multi-task and yask prioritize.
Qualification Standards: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Related work experience is helpful. Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Share Point. Understanding of business, customer service and excellent command of the English language.
