POSITION:
Security Officer
Active TWIC Card & Security License Required
LOCATION:
Southeast Houston and Surrounding Areas
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Administer periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid TWIC Card
-Active Non-Commissioned Security License
-Valid Driver's License
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must have a high school diploma or GED.
-At least one verifiable employer.
-Successful completion of CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.
-No CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS.
-At least two forms of ID (Social Security- DL - Passport - Work Authorization, etc.).
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
-Authorized to work in the United States.
-Must pass drug screening
-Neat and Professional Appearance.
-Professional demeanor
-Must have active phone
-Must have reliable transportation
-On-call for additional hours to handle call off's, vacations, etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Walking up stairways
- Walking of distance
- Standing for periods of time
- Sitting for periods of time
(Other physical demands may be required as needed.)
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
-Overtime pay after 40 hours
