Compounder - Dallas, TX 75041Direct Hire!Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking a Compounder for one of our top clients in Garland, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity with full line of benefits.As a Compounder placed with Kelly Science & Clinical, you will be responsible for weighing batches and manufactures product batches according to formula procedures and operating processing equipment in several functions of manufacturing.Additional Job Responsibilities :Perform set-up, operation and monitoring of tanks and mixing equipment for product formulation. Including the use of valves, mixers, side sweeps, heating and cooling lines.

Cleans and sanitizes any equipment used in the product formulation process in accordance with SOPS.

Notify Compound Manager of any needs about the equipment and any supplies needed for the department

Must be dependable and strong attention to detail

Set-up scales for weighing product following established SOPs

Pulls raw materials from inventory warehouse using FIFO and weighs according to specific formulas

Keeps inventory warehouse in order

Must keep the Compounding area in clean condition

Ensures that all products are batched according to the manufacturing instructions provided and that all batch paperwork is completed in an accurate and thorough manner

Performs operations necessary to adjust pH and viscosity of product before releasing to production lines

Assure accuracy of all documentation- batch records, alcohol logs, cleaning logs, warehouse transfer sheets, weighing tickets

Safely operate forklift to move pallets, drums and tanks around the department

Pull and submit necessary samples to lab for testing

All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:Knowledge of safe forklift operation or able to be trained to drive a forklift safely.

Ability to read and write English to read and follow formulas, procedures and equipment instructions.

Good math skills to problem solve compounding formulas

Problem solving skills to identify and fix incorrectly formulated batches.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:High school education or GED equivalent.

2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

2+ years of work experience in cosmetics compounding or related assignments

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

1 st or 2 nd Shift available

7:30 am-4:30pm AND 4:00pm-11:30pm
