Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner for a position in Grand Prairie, Texas to work in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner & Creator in the Proposal Estimating Department.Duties will include:- Creating estimating Bill of Materials (BOM's) utilizing the Manufacturing Engineering Statement of Work; Make/Buy indented structures and Tangible Items Lists (TIL)- Develop Basis of Estimates for proposal activities. Support fact finding and RFI requirements.- Ensure commonality in the PP&C proposal process.Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.MFCPOBasic Qualifications:Candidate must have extensive BOM Planning experience and:- Be able to interpret, understand and work from SPI’s (Make/Buy Docs)- Be able to interpret, create and understand the functions of Change Masters- Be proficient in navigating the Product Data Management (PDM) system to pull and review drawings, part numbers/material and Engineering Releases.- Be able to create and understand a Bill of Material in SAP- Be able to understand an Indented Structure BOM and parts lists- Be able to understand and create Material Master Records in SAP- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.- Ability to obtain a US Government issued Security ClearanceDesired Skills:- Possesses a working knowledge of proposal estimating with experience writing Basis of Estimates (BOE’s) with a basic understanding of Contract Proposal Authorizations (CPA's).- Proficient in researching Bill of Material history and Purchase Order history in SAP.- Proficient in researching Material Master history.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
