Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer for a position in Orlando, FL to support the Future Enterprise Program. The position is intended to be a catalyst for introducing automation, smart tools and analytics into the business to reduce Scrap, Rework, and Repair (SRR) cost, improve Quality Inspection systems, and ensure Production / Quality process compliance. Responsibilities include:Lead and implement advanced Quality Technology (AQT) initiatives. This will include developing and introducing new Quality Technologies used to reduce process variation, cost, and nonconformances. The selected candidate will be expected to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously (on schedule and within cost).Implement new inspection technologies within Quality and Manufacturing and lead technology adoption efforts.Interface cross functionally seeking the most value-add to the business.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above in an engineering, Physics, math or science fieldMust be able to obtain a secret security clearanceExperience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipmentFamiliarity with Engineering models and Process SpecificationsExposure to AS9100Statistical Process Control (FMEA, Sampling, Process Capability, Control Charts)First Article Inspection experienceFamiliarity with Computer Environments, languages and software. to include: MS Office, Python, Matlab, ARKit, and ScopeARExperience with Unity Development Software for VR/AR ApplicationsDesire to learn new systems and lead institutional culture changeDemonstrated ability to lead multiple projects at once in a complex business environmentDemonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team (building effective relationships across the enterprise)Experience using photogrammetry devicesProficient in the use of Polyworks or Geomagic software suitesDesired Skills:Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt certificationSpecial process engineering experienceASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)SAP Application experienceAdvanced AS9100 interpretation and application experienceExperience working with Government customersStrong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
