Description: MFC is seeking a Sr. Purchasing & Material Administration Analyst for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to act as a liaison between all Program functional organizations and SEMAC GSCO operations to ensure timely release of the Bill of Material and subsequent purchase requests. Responsibilities include: Tracks placement of purchase orders in support of production IOP at all sites. Works engineering changes to determine cost or schedule impacts. Works with Finance to ensure any cost impacts are accounted for prior to authorization to the buyers / PO. Maintain status within SAP and the program LOB to ensure accurate status. Collaborate with program teams to develop cost reduction ideas supporting direct material items. Travel to various suppliers supporting delivery issues or PPB / Pro-team audits to review supplier capabilities and flow down of our requirements to their supply chain. Support to Production Site reviews and SEMAC kickoff meetings. Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.Basic Qualifications:Must be proficient in SAP, P2P, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Ability to travel.Must have experience in supplier communications and managementDesired Skills:Cross functional knowledge especially with PP&C, Supplier Quality, and Engineering Ability to create and present all facets utilizing Microsoft office tools.
