Systems Engineer II

Genuent is becoming Inspyr Solutions and we are seeking an Azure Systems Engineer for a client of ours in the Dallas area. This role is contract to hire and offerd a hybrid work enviornment with 3 days on site and 2 days remote (but flexible). If you are interested please send resumes to Ivy Lamb at BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION The Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing virtual server and storage environments.PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines:

• Design and maintain a highly available and appropriately sized storage infrastructure
• Improve and maintain data disaster recovery plan
• Create and maintain multi-site system architectures utilizing VMWare and Cloud-based technologies.
• Manage the review of security scans and collaborate with information security teams to mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
• Establishes guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, disk arrays, fiber channel switches, and other components.
• Analyze current systems infrastructure and submit reports to management on ways to make our systems more efficient and scalable.
• Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads to problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
• Defines customers' needs and functionality in a service development cycle.
• Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
• Implements warranty and support activities.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not necessary
• 6 - 10 years' systems engineering and administration experience with a strong background in data security administration
• Must have Azure Cloud experience, AzureAD highly preferred
• Must have experience with both Windows and Linux environments
• Must have hands-on experience with VMWare and/or Citrix environment architecture design and management
• Must have solid storage infrastructure skills and experience (including direct-attached and SAN infrastructures)
• Experience with Warehouse technologies (Zebra scanners & printers) highly preferred
• Experience with PowerShell or other command-line driven languages required
• Must be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision
• Good administrative and organizational skills including strong documentation skills and adhering to policy
