Kelly is currently working with a logistics company looking for material handlers in Grapevine, TX!The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Shipping/Receiving—Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.
Storing—Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
Order Picking—Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Quality—Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Equipment—Capable of operating any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Use radio frequency equipment or picking, receiving, and storing functions, as required.
Safety, Sanitation, Security—Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Other Duties—Charge forklift battery as needed; participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; repair pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck bays as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer high school diploma.
Able to read, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.
Forklift experience preferred.
Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
Able to follow directions effectively.
Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment is beneficial.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds .
