Position: Helpdesk AdministratorLocation: Harris county TX This will be multi year projectsRequiring multiple Helpdesk Specialists to assist with:Triage and document IT incident issuesTake ownership of the issue and escalate to various engineering teams where neededKeep the incident originator apprised of the progress of the resolution of the ticketHost conference calls where required to convene both the users and the engineers in order iron out or fill gaps that would expedite the resolution of the ticketThe ideal person will have some of the following skills:An attention to detail to ensure nothing is lost in understanding the issue and also ensuring the resolutions originating from the IT engineering teams are captured in its entiretyA strong sense of ownership to drive the issue to complete resolution.The following are 'Plus' skills (ie. nice to have):A background with any incident management or alert systems such as BigFix, New Relic, Solarwinds, Splunk, Qradar, CloudWatch, AppDynamics, etc.Experience with ticketing systems such as Cherwell, ServiceNow, Remedy, Zendesk, Ivanti, etc.Candidates can be fulltime with us with benefits or quote an hourly contract rate with or without benefits.
