Preferred: Previous tax preparation experience. Familiar with computer software such as Word and Excel.
Data entry pertaining to tax documentation.
Assist in preparing simple to complex tax return for individuals and small businesses.
Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
Interview clients to get a thorough picture of financial situation.
Consult tax law handbooks for especially difficult tax returns.
Resolve customer complaints.
Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software.
Assists with related clerical duties such as scanning, photocopying, faxing, filing, and light phone service
Light cleaning throughout the office.
Full Time: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm (Off Season Hours)
Full Time: Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm, Alternating Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm (Tax Season Hours)
