The Pet Glider is seeking to bring onboard a General Working Manager, full time with our facility! We are the World's top Sugar Glider facility, specializing in these exotic pets and their unique needs. We pride ourselves on producing the happiest, healthiest sugar gliders in the entire industry. Beyond that, we strive to provide our customers with a thorough education on the needs of their new pets and give them all the information available to provide the necessary care!
A qualified applicant for this position will have an aptitude for demonstrating strong customer service as well as the ability to lead and instruct others. The working manager will be responsible for learning tasks associated with each department (animal care, nutrition, product development, shipping, international sales, etc) as well as completing general admin responsibilities.
Three or more years of management experience (or the equivalent) is required. A working knowledge of general business practices is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills needed. In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, the applicant must also demonstrate a genuine interest in these animals.
A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required; some level of college with business/management specialty is preferred. Valid drivers license required.
