Position: Data Engineer

Location: Huston, TX

Job Description: The Data Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:• Optimize existing data lake to enhance user experience.• Leverage benefits of Platformation (Cognitive Search, Canonical Model, etc.) for the current and future applications.• Migrating CHAPs off-prem into the cloud and sourcing data from the data lake.• Rebuild pipelines and architecture avoiding future rework, deliver data products through CDAS standards.

Qualifications:• 8-10 years of relevant experience• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or relevant fields of study preferred, but not required (minimum of high school diploma/GED)• REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Azure Analytics Stack (ADF, databricks, synapse, blob, ansibles, ADO), T-SQL, API, python, spark
