TITLE: Data Engineer
Location: Houston, Texas Compensation Range :$45.00-75.00 hr We are looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients in Downtown, Houston! This is a multiyear contract. Looking for someone that wants to be part of a innovative team, all applications are built in house.You will be part of a brand new Data Engineering team to serve as a core Data team at our client. We are looking for various backgrounds. You must be enthusiastic and willing to learn and grow on the team! Role: Data Engineer (Python + SQL + Docker) 3-5 yrs of experience- Experience working on large scale projects as a lead (> 3 yrs)
- Hands on coding/ designing experience in building solutions focusing on middle tier and backend (APIs, SQL)
- Experience with docker/ Kubernetes (designing service architecture), Jenkins/ Github actions
- Python experience focusing on FastAPI/ Flask, dataclasses, numpy, pandas. End to end solution design using different technology stack
- SQL experience for performance tuning
