Accounts Receivable Analyst

Description Our client is looking for a collections/AR Analyst to join their team on a contract - potentially contract to hire role. This position is 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home.You will do the following daily - if interested, please apply today! Provide outstanding customer serviceo Act as primary invoicing and A/R contact for customerso Manage customer accounts to resolve outstanding balances and discrepancieso Collaborate with various internal groups, including Commercial, Field Operations and Segment Accounting, and Field Operations to address customer matterso Resolve customer inquiries regarding invoice requests and questionso Propose account allowances or bad debt write offs when necessary Oversee Customer Account Management in ERP Systemo Handle customer account setup and updateso Manage the cash application processo Research and resolve unapplied cash to ensure accurate customer accountso Process any necessary credit memos or refunds Prepare key reports and evidenceo Prepare, analyze and maintain monthly A/R aging reportso Document internal controls processes and maintain evidence for audit reviewo Present updates to the Settlement Team, external customers, or internal customers, where appropriate Manage the Billing process including:o Generate customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and operations data to confirm accuracy and completeness prior to distribution to customero Create miscellaneous invoices manually as requiredo Confirm completeness of monthly and other periodic billingso Timely distribute invoices to the customero Resolve billing discrepancies or issues in a timely mannerRequirements To be considered, you must have the following experience: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years related experience Experience in accounts receivable or billing is preferred Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar systems is beneficial.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
