RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is immediately adding a full-time API/Data Services Architect in support of our industry leading technology development client in Houston, TX. Responsibilities of the API/Data Services Architect: The API/Data Services Architect will solution architecture, design, hands-on build, and maintaining large-scale services, job pipelines, real-time APIs, and systems integrations Work cross-functionally with many teams: customer ecommerce (as-a-Service), common cloud services, data analytics, API, container, and Kubernetes platforms As an API/Data Services Architect, you will build mission critical system integrations critical to as-a-Service future operation Design and Build data caching layer to support fast APIs The API/Data Services Architect prepares and architects systems using technologies public cloud and on-prem Build big data consumption layer to support and the data services Implement service catalog, and service monitoringREQUIREMENTS: Technical Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience 10+ years of experience in architecting high-volume ecommerce data services 10 years of experience architecting, implementing and deploying highly scalable mission critical Microservices and API's using Docker and Kubernetes Extensive experience in API design standards, patterns, best practices especially Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, Security, throttling, caching, and logging Experience working with API management platforms like Mulesoft, Apigee Experienced in enabling solutions in the cloud - SaaS and PaaS Hands-on in writing SQL, No SQL, Python, and Java Experience in designing the data model for Redis API serving cached database Proven track record in enterprise wide API management, microservices, event-driven architectures using Queues/Streams, security, and complex integrations Hands-on knowledge in public cloud products, cloud-native architectures Experience with automating service quality, service monitoring, and service catalogKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
