Azure Devops Engineer Houston TX (Onsite) Full Time Phone / Video Interview Job Description:
- Act as subject matter expert for all aspects of cloud services in Azure and AWS, inclusive of IaaS, PaaS, and M365 services.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, cloud services and cloud computing capabilities
- Develops, implements, and supports a variety of cloud service technologies
- Maintain excellent working relationship with 3rd Party vendors
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize reliability and decrease cost for cloud technologies
- Identify and implement processes for internal operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
- Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- Provide technical guidance to service partners as needed
- Respond to and provide support to technical issues in a timely manner
- Assist with communication of process changes, enhancements, and modifications so solutions are understood
- Work closely with development and security teams to identify gaps and implement solutions to drive improvements in reliability, security, performance, and availability
- Performs specialized assignments; leads others to solve complex problems and develop non-traditional solutions
- Works independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
- Supports others to solve complex problems
- Identifies innovative solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
- Partner with business and technology leads to set transformation goals and objectives to launch key initiatives
- Analyze trends with emerging technologies and provide recommendations to the enterprise
- Minimum 5 years of design and architecture experience with cloud services
- In-depth functional knowledge of varying versions of Microsoft operating systems
- Experience with supporting PaaS, IaaS solutions in Azure
- Experience with migrating on-premises applications to the cloud is a plus
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good understanding of containers and automation and orchestration frameworks
- Strong functional knowledge of Active Directory in a multi-domain environment
