  • Run analysis to support expansion for retargeting programs, expansion of tactics within current prospecting channels, and an expansion of channels (i.e. native, display)
  • Improve our understanding of campaign-level ROI and create opportunities to scale up-down.
  • In general, move from ad-hoc, reactive campaign measurement to regular, proactive performance analysis and recommendations.
  • Work on updating our measurement and tracking to improve attribution. This will include changes to data and reporting infrastructure
  • Set up cross-channel budget allocation modeling, allowing for incrementality-based optimization across the total portfolio.
Responsibilities:
  • Build & maintain deep understanding of key growth drivers. Explore new and creative ways to drive results through marketing activities.
  • Engage with internal (Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology) and external (i.e. Media Agency) partners on a regular basis to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions.
  • Design, setup and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (SEM/Social/Display, etc.). Conduct in-depth post-campaign analysis to understand key performance drivers and make actionable recommendations.
  • - Lead design and development of various dashboards & self-service visualization tools to enable data-driven decision making in marketing.
  • Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.
  • Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.
  • Transform complex datasets into easily digestible visualizations using a variety of analytics tools.
  • Translate and communicate results to stakeholders, adjusting the level of technical detail as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. Graduate level degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years relevant business and analytical experience. Demonstrated experience leading analytics initiatives with track record of business impact.
  • Ability to drive analytic projects with general instruction and minimal supervision. Ability to frame analytic questions independently and to select best methods and analytic approach for the question at hand.
  • In-depth experience writing and editing complex queries using tools such as SQL, SAS, R or Python
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing campaign design methodologies and techniques: A/B and experimental test design, holdout control setup; building and/or using segmentations and propensity models, etc.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to non-technical business partners.
  • Tableau / Spotfire / Looker or similar visualization tool experience preferred.
  • Digital advertising experience preferred.
