AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Bridge Design Project Engineer III in Houston, TX.Job responsibilities:Prepare structural designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation structures, including bridges, retaining walls, and drainage structuresProvide load rating analysis, rehabilitation concepts, and structure type evaluation analysesUse current engineering design softwareCoordinate with other design teams and disciplinesPerform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineerGather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWork on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple testsPropose approaches to solve new problems encounteredIdentify discrepancies in resultsProvide guidance to entry-level engineersPerform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervisionMay telecommute
