Description Job Description Business Analyst role works with product owners (digital, business) in an Agile delivery model to conduct discovery and analysis of features and functionality for digital deliverables. The role is a primary liaison between technical staff and business owners. Work with diverse stakeholders with complex requirements, effectively gathering business requirements, conveying to development teams, and ensuring project success. Ensures the development of complex information systems, or revisions to existing system logic to meet business requirements and objectives. Responsibilities Conduct functional analysis for target features of digital platform.
Analyze current and target platform features of digital platform.
Research functional and technical systems and processes to discover key gaps to enable functionality.
Develop recommendations to resolve any functionality gaps.
Facilitate scoping and estimation sessions with Scrum Teams.
Work with Systems Analyst to enumerate functional and technical Tasks required to enable features and functionality.
Facilitate task-creation exercises with Scrum Teams.
Facilitate Agile estimation sessions to assess cross-functional effort required to enable functionality.
Create develop and maintain User Story Backlog to support Scrum Team.
Decompose features and functionality into well-formed User Stories to enable cross-functional communication.
Document findings in an accessible and organized manner Ensure User Stories contain all necessary information and data Maintain Backlog platform and tools e.g. JIRA Ensure the Backlog is current and well-groomed
Requirements
Requirements Excellent Soft/Communication and collaboration Skills. Inquisitive pro-active and detail oriented.
Ability to understand Business Domain and context Interact with Business to analyze the business requirements and requirement elaboration.
Agile Experience is a must : Ability capture Epics and create detailed user stories.
Technical BA : Strong Ability to Translate the business requirements into system requirements and interface with Developers in solution design.
Technical BA : Strong ability to understand database design and querying skills.
Documentation Skills Ability to visually represent the information to drive the conversations consensus and consumption.
About 10 Years of experience. Logistics Experience is preferred.
Should be willing to accommodate some overlap with India time-zone as and when the needs arise.
Coordinate with the testing team and conduct solution validation
Experience in JIRA Confluence Microsoft Excel Power BI Databases Relational/NO-SQL.
