Business Systems Analyst, Manufacturing

Qualified candidates please email your resume to Erica Shackleton at Business Systems Analyst, Manufacturing We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Business Analyst with our manufacturing team in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for working with business and managing enhancements, providing production support and work to implement process improvements. The Sr Business Analyst supports Manufacturing Execution System (MES) users and manages the manufacturing configuration. This includes end user support, configuring the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to support manufacturing processes, and creation and maintenance of the Device Master Record in QAD. PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

• Manage business relationship for day-to-day activities.
• Build portfolio of enhancement requests and work with business to prioritize and implement.
• Ensure all IT policies and procedures are followed.
• Rapidly troubleshoot and complete end-user requests.
• Create, refine, and troubleshoot MES configurations to optimize quality and operational effectiveness.
• Create and manage information related to MES configurations in QAD.
• Collaborate with process owners and project teams to create and optimize solutions.
• Provide training, coaching and mentorship for system users and MES support staff.
• Participate in cross-functional teams (involving Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Production).
• Identify and implement process and application/system improvements.
• Perform and document tests.
• Work with Manufacturing and business leaders to gather and document Business requirements in the SAP MES area that will streamline processes and maximize Business efficiency.

• Ability to learn and apply business analysis, business process modeling, and root cause analysis approaches.
• Ability to provide initial troubleshooting of issues.
• Ability to exhibit a structured and methodical approach, while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects; working with stakeholders to define strategy and decision for the company.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience with software systems supporting manufacturing activities, including Manufacturing Execution, Product Data Management, and ERP systems (e.g. Camstar, QAD, SAP).
• Knowledge of CFR, ISO requirements.
• Knowledge of technology and how to utilize technology to address business challenges and opportunities.

• Experience with IT and/or business department supporting cross-functional business project execution, including at least 1 ERP suite or module implementation.
• Experience working on different Database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2 and Access DB.
• Knowledge of working in a regulated industry and familiarity with FDA, European and SOX regulations.
• Previous experience having responsibility for feasibility studies, project charters and/or statements of work, implementation, communication, testing, change management, and training strategies.
