Broker Support Representative-

  • Schedule: HYBRID IN OFFICE 1-2 DAYS A WEEK
  • Monday-Friday : 8am-5pm
  • Location: Downtown Houston (77002)
Job Summary:The Broker Support Representative helps team members who support the indirect sales channel which includes brokers, aggregators, and authorized representatives. The team is responsible for end-to-end support of third-party intermediaries, from vetting, contracting, onboarding, payment, dispute resolution, and working with sales relationship leads during the lifecycle of contract relationships.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Receiving daily production assignments to support team.
  • Entering data based on standard work process and procedures.
  • Monitors shared mailbox; interprets and evaluates broker related requests and sends to correct subject matter expert.
  • Pulling and updating reports, as directed.
  • High-quality communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
  • Other duties as required based on projects and business needs.
Working Conditions:
  • Open office environment
  • Hybrid work schedule two days office, three days remote (Houston-based role)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Applicable combination of education, training, and experience acceptable
  • 1-3 years of experience working for a utility in any of the following, commercial billing, commercial products, broker payments, research and escalated customer issue resolution for
  • Commercial and Industrial customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • SQL base experience preferred, but not required. Used to query and search internal data

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills and experience communicating with cross-functional departments
  • Works well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities
  • Excels in execution of multi-task assignments
