- Monitor/maintain existing data throughout the ETL processes
- Work with Data Scientists in leading novel data ingestion
- Develop/model/design datasets and databases to support reporting and analytics
- Use public APIs for querying data and configuring for use in relational databases by other personnel
- Manage technical dependencies/limitations that delay Data Science work
- Debug issues with automated data flows and ETL processes
- Investigate new products to improve data integrity, processing, and automation
- Work with and assist the Data Science team
- Excellent data engineering and ETL background
- Familiarity of programming codes and concepts
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Masters (preferred)
- Technical background knowledge in: statistics, computer science, math, engineering, or other related
- Strong Microsoft Azure or similar (AWS, etc) experience required
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in data engineering/data strategy/data management, programming in C# or an equivalent OOP language, and development experience w/ MySQL or MS Sql Server
- Experience with analysis tools such as SQL/R/Python
- Experience collecting data points and performance optimizations at database/application level
- Data visualization (Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, etc) and Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc) experience a plus!
- Experience with Kubernetes a plus!
