Position: Data Integration Architect - ETL, SSIS, Visual Studio, SQL ServerLocation: Houston, TX (Spring, TX area)Compensation: $100,000 - $135,000 + Bonus + Excellent BanefitsThis position is remote 2-3 days a week.Job Description:This Client is searching for a full-time Data Integration Architect primarily responsible for providing ETL architecture and development across the entire enterprise. You will design integration architecture that spans both on premise and cloud. Day-to-day activities will include designing and deploying optimized ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) process across the entire enterprise, maintaining and contributing to enterprise data warehouse data model, architecting batch process automation, and ensuring implementation of sound data integrity processes. Responsibilities: Architect and develop enterprise and departmental ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) solutions. Create and help maintain Azure cloud integration services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, App Services, and Azure Functions. Create robust and high-performing ETL mappings using Microsoft SSIS and Azure Data Factory. Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration, data integrity, and data quality. Create data mapping specifications to be used by the enterprise for ETL projects. Understand and contribute to enterprise data warehouse data model. Create standards to manage and report on errors within ETL packages. Provide training and documentation for the BI team on ETL standards. Qualifications: Create architectural design for ETL process across the organization. Provide leadership, training and best practices for the organization on ETL processes. Ability to design, develop and translate business requirements and processes for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria, and data stewardship workflows using data management solutions. Resourceful and highly adept at problem identification and incident resolution using experience and developed analytical skills. Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics. Strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy and data governance. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with an ability to establish a strategic direction and subsequently develop and manage supporting initiatives. Strong overall business acumen with an ability to understand the direction, priorities, and goals of the organization. Strategic and problem solving mindset with developed analytical, process and project management skills.Excellent ETL performance-tuning skills and the ability to analyze and optimize production volumes and batch schedules. Strong experience in building data warehouse solutions. Strong knowledge of data quality, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.Strong knowledge of SQL Server database administration. Excellent listening skills, interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and test data against business rules.
